Confirmed from Hickory Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sprawling facility with soccer, baseball, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball and rugby/cricket fields, plus walking trails, playgrounds for kids and picnic pavilions and picnic tables.
What runners say about Hickory Park
“Very nice and clean basketball tennis baseball very nice picnic area swings playgrounds”
This park has three very nice little league baseball fields with access to all three by a paved path. The park has batting cages and benches and bleachers. The park has two basket ball courts, three tennis courts, sand volleyball court and a football/rugby/soccer field.
Great park! They installed a brand new playground, complete with boats, earlier this year for ages 5-12 and my kids have quite the imaginitive time when we go! 4 stars because I wish they had a toddler area, or even just toddler swings. I've overheard several other parents lamenting for the same.
This is a great park located in Chester springs. I visited here to play tennis, and the tennis courts are also marked for pickle ball. The surface is in good condition. It can get busy and expect wait times. There are restrooms around the corner of concession stand. there is a nice volleyball with beach sand surface.
Great park. Has tennis, basketball, and nice playground for younger kids. Has seasonally open bathrooms. Can be busy or nearly empty. Strict with ballfield access based on ground conditions based on weather. Also has 2 batting cages, walking trail, and good parking. Bleachers at each baseball field.
