Confirmed from Hicks Tract Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hicks Tract Park
“Well marked trails which you can mix and match to get varied walks.”
A gem of wooded park. Short trail system with lots of elevation. Good hiking spot, decent challenging biking spot. Not well maintained though. Township doesn't do anything, even though they extort and extract enormous amount of tax dollars from its residents. Typical criminal government.
A series of small trails, one paved, rest dirt. A few benches, a foot bridge and a campfire can be found along the trails.
A very nice smaller park with some good hiking trails. There are some steep short climbs which make this a intermediate / moderate type of Trail. But overall easy to intermediate.
Haven't been in ages, but not a bad place for a quick walk. Not big and we only go because we live so close. Benches are a nice addition. Good place to bring your dog.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
