What runners say about Passaic River County Park
I've visited the Glenhurst Nature Trail section of the park; which is accessible from Mountain Ave in Warren. It's a great hidden gem; few people actually know it exists. There are several miles of loop trails and you will definitely see some wildlife once you get towards the back of the park along the Passaic River.
Really nice place, great for a family afternoon walking the park around, watching the waterfalls and be amazed by this hidden treasure
Beautiful hike, surrounded by nature and small wildlife - the only downside was that because of the trail's proximity to surrounding roads, you could still hear cars passing by depending on where you were. Regardless, definitely a hidden gem in the area and worth a hike.
