This spot is awesome it has restrooms (with flushing toilets), picnic area, trails for biking or just walking, you can paddle board, use your kayak, or fish. It's dog friendly. I've also seen people riding their horses. It has a playground area. You can relax and enjoy the duckies swimming on the water.
Beautiful park. Paved trails for families. Fishing is good. I’ve been coming here for 20+ years. A lot has changed but it’s still a gem. I used to catch baby fish here with pickle jars and bread. I learned to fish trout and catfish here too. I rolled a kayak here and lost my glasses.
Visitors were ready to share how pleasant the park was since it was fairly empty. We found a nice shade spot under a tree, arriving around 13:00 We blew up the SUPB and other flotation devices and headed to the water. Not many were swimming which I was told by a paddle-boarder, was due to e-coli warnings for the lake.
Such a cute and peaceful family spot! The pond is great for fishing, with three docks to spread out on. There’s plenty of grassy space for yard games, a sand volleyball court, and a bikeable path for exploring.
