Confirmed from Highland Oaks Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with baseball & soccer fields, a playground, bicycle trails & a volleyball court.
What runners say about Highland Oaks Park
“Very beautiful I didn't know Crocodiles were indigenous to Florida until I saw this”
“There is also a trail that is really nice and perfect for waking, running, or taking pictures.”
Great place for a walk or run! If you are lucky you may see an American Crocodile, plus lots of water fowl. Very peaceful.
Must see park if your not from Florida. A lot of wildlife; lizards, colorful spiders, beautiful birds. Amazing walk throughout the park. Recommended
Wow, I was blown away that this place even existed to the public. It's a beautifully paved trail that has such an epic panoramic view of Miami, FL. Parking was easy and they even had public bathrooms open. They also had what looked like a small venue space I would definitely love to rent out one day if at all possible.
This is a beautiful park. My personal trainer and I have been to this park to work out and it was perfect. There is also a volley ball net set up for play and enough space for a soccer game. There is also a trail that is really nice and perfect for waking, running, or taking pictures.
