Confirmed from Highland Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kids' playground, carousels and pools are among this park's attractions.
What runners say about Highland Park
“I would suggest to hire more people to help clean the park.”
I loved this place as a kid two levels to this park. They have a swimming pool and a gym they added later. Concession stand, playground, Carousel and lots of places to walk, play, and have a picnic. On the lower half they have more pavilions a playground, tennis court, and the 9/11 memorial that was done very well
The park is beautiful and very well maintained. There are a couple of walking trails, a few pavilions, a playground and plenty of wooded areas to explore.
This is a nice park to stop and enjoy the weather. You can check off a carousel, use the pool, and circle the grounds. The food is really affordable and adds a nice value to the park. I only wish there were more walking paths. Otherwise, it’s always nice to stop here. 👌
