Confirmed from Hills & Dales MetroPark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Such a beautiful park. Different trails, lots of swings to sit and experience nature. They also have very nice shelters that you can reserve.

A gorgeous park with well kept trails and the roads that travel through the park. There was a young man playing the bag pipes for a while and it was beautiful to listen to! Stopped in to meet up for a walk and some photos, excellent park for both and you may luck out and hear the guy playing the bag pipes! 💚

Only had about a half hour to explore, but we enjoyed it! We shall be back to go down some of the trails. Enjoyed the pond with plenty of frogs and turtles. Bird watchers were around. Good vibe place.

I feel complete in nature and this park fills me up. From the peacefulness of the pond, to the trails, I've taken in the fresh scent of composting leaves, seen a deer or two, watched a round of robins pick through the leaves for worms, enjoyed turtles, bullfrogs and many large koi yet each experience is new and…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
