Confirmed from Gentile Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a playground with swings and slides, plus restrooms and a bike path.
What runners say about Gentile Park
“It was a beautiful newly done park, my kid could’ve stayed for hours, clean and safe.”

“Only things it really needs is more shaded covered areas to hang out and permanent bathroom structures rather than porta-potties.”
Gentile Park is a beautiful, peaceful spot in Kettering. The playground is creative and funespecially the zipline! There’s a nice walking trail, picnic tables, and a cool tribute to Major Don Gentile. It’s clean, quiet, and perfect for a family outing or a relaxing walk. Definitely worth a visit!
Excellent extension to the bike path. The kids love playing on the new equipment.
This is an absolutely beautiful park with lots of fun things for the kids to do. The two zip lines were favorites with the kids when I was there. They have playground equipment for younger and older kids. It's right on a bike trail, so there our two porta potties and a water fountain there.
This park was quaint, fun & well maintained. My son had a wonderful time. This park seems to aim to the 4+ age range as the smaller area only had a few things. That being said, my 23 month old had a blast just running around. Will definitely be back!

“The only negative I would say about it is that the parking lot is very small.”
