Confirmed from Hiram Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Pet-friendly trail that's mostly paved and features picnic benches.

“The Silver Comet trail itself is lovely, flat, shaded and has a train trestle and tunnels and a lake and streams on the way to Rockmart.”
The silver, Trail is a well-known Georgia ride. It’s about to be exponentially better also. The Silver Comet will be officially connected to the Beltline and Atlanta will finally have the beginning of an incredible trail system. The Path Foundation has done an amazing job and the connect.
Hot this time of year but still more shaded than most trails! Bring water but plenty of restroom stops if you need it.
I love starting off here. There has always been ample parking and friendly people. There is a restroom and a snack shack near the red caboose. The restroom is bare bones but convenient. We love picking up the trail here and cycling east.
Great trail. Is a beautiful, yet modestly intense ride. I love you ride this trail. Would recommend anyone to come out and give this trail a try, because you will definitely not be disappointed.
