The trailhead has lots of parking and very clean bathrooms. I have walked at this trailhead several times, and it has never been overly crowded, dirty, etc. The trail is mostly shaded, so even in the hot summer months, it is still pleasant to walk.
The Silver Comet is near our house and a great place to hike. This is more of a paved walking trail, so it is great when it super muddy and you still want a wooded place to hike. Lots of parking, too!
Ample parking and good restrooms. Only shaded spots at the edges of the lot, so get there early when it's hot.
Awesome bike path! 12' wide, paved & smooth, with plenty of shade! The grade is flat, varying from +2% to -2%. You can essentially ride as far as you want, with no concern for traffic, except at the few road crossings. These are generally low traffic roads & the cars are fairly resoectful.
