Confirmed from Hisle Farm Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hisle Farm Park
“Lovely and serene, except for a large group doing weird military training.”
So far I have only run here and walked my dog around the trails. Both have been really enjoyable experiences, but the really interesting part about this park is the fact that you can trail ride a horse here. I've seen a few others riding but have yet to bring our horse out.
I love that there is some empty land for walking that isn't covered with flags, pavement and ball fields. Nature doesn't need to be augmented.
Hisle Farm Park is our favorite park in Lexington! It's a wonderful place to enjoy natural beauty, watch the seasons pass, and help our dog get tired. Miles of neatly mowed trails, an emphasis on native plants, and abundant wildlife
Still working to remove invasives. Great spaces; great potential. Not much shade in summer -- but great for a good leg-stretch, in winter, spring, and fall. Dogs (on leash) are welcome.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
