Confirmed from Holloway Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 362-acre recreational area & nature preserve features cross-country trails & wildlife viewing.
What runners say about Holloway Park
“The well-maintained grounds and friendly atmosphere make it a favorite local retreat.”
“This park is always well maintained and a beautiful place to run.”
“Maybe I would have fallen in love with running before my 30s.”
“Holloway Park is a hidden gem in Lakeland, offering peaceful green spaces, walking trails, and great spots for picnics and relaxation.”
This is a big park with hiking and running trails and a disc golf course. At first it looks like an open area with not many trees but the trails are towards the back of the park with more shaded areas.
Perfect place to escape the busy world for some cardio or just a casual walk. It’s peaceful, quiet, well kept, safe and just beautiful! Been running here multiple times a week for about 3 years.
Excellent location to walk your dogs, go on a hike, take wildlife photography, play disc golf, chase your children around, on run some trails! I took my dogs here again recently and had a blast! My only wish is they would stay open until 8PM instead of 7PM since it’s cooler out later in the evening for my pups.
This park has amazing views, hills and trails. There are facilities at the entrance of the park only…. Be aware of the Disc Golf tournaments on the weekends and allow space to the players..

- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
