Confirmed from Circle B Bar Reserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

We’ve visited Florida — and the wider US — extensively over the years, and Circle B Bar Reserve might just be the very best nature reserve in Florida for wildlife spotting. The variety and proximity of wildlife here is simply outstanding.

★★★★★ — Andy , Feb 2026

Beautiful natural park, perfect for walking or biking. It is quite large and offers an amazing diversity of wildlife—you can see crocodiles, birds, squirrels, snakes, and fish, which makes the experience very special and close to nature. Admission is free. The walk can be long, so it’s important to bring enough water.

Do not miss this!!! My husband and I had an excellent time exploring Circle B Bar Reserve. We ended up walking over 4 miles and covered four different trails, and every minute of it was worth it. If you’re limited on time, you absolutely cannot miss the Alligator Alley Trail and the Eagle Roost Trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
