Confirmed from Holly Bay Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space featuring jogging trails, a large kids' playground, a walking track & a fitness area.
What runners say about Holly Bay Park
“A clean restroom right next to playground is very convenience for both adults and kids.”
Nice simple park with something for everyone. There is a trail that leads to another small neighborhood park which then leads to a long walking/jogging/biking/hiking trail that goes down Redbluff Rd to Bay Area Blvd. That trail is a few miles round trip.
Good to walk, run site seeing sometimes you spot deers, rabbits, Turtles good to take kids biking ..
It's a great park and also great bike trails! There's a variety of wildlife. We've seen rabbits, deer, turtles, snakes, fish like gar, gators and a few different kinds of birds. Pretty awesome place!
After an evening of rain the night before the next day was sunny with a cool breeze. The bayou was running fast under the bridge on the walk.

“My favorite is the walking/biking trail, up the path and to your left if you are coming from the parking lot.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
