This was a fantastic 4 Mike hike! We saw birds, water fowl, amazing plants, trees and flowers...
Trails around the lake were beautiful. Just wish they were better marked. At one point, I wound up in a parking lot and had a difficult time picking the trail up again. But certainly that's more my fault due to poor navigation skills, I'm sure.
Nice preserve with couple trails. There is also a piknic area by the entrance. Bring bug spray.
Beautiful forest preserve with walking paths throughout, great exercise. Lots of wonderful wildlife. If you fish you can do that too with membership.
