Confirmed from Homewood Shades Creek Greenway -Western Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great place to get out into nature, and great for finding birds. the greenway includes a small wetland area and a small lake. in Spring, you can find birds like gnatcatchers, Vireos, Sparrows, Waterthrushes, Swallows, and you can sometimes find Herons, and the occasional Belted Kingfisher.
What a great surprise to discover this greenway trail. We were staying within walking distance at the Holiday Inn Express and took advantage of this beautiful trail for morning runs a couple days.
Awesome trail. Traveling from SC and this is right beside my hotel and has been a blessing to keep up with my training. Nicely paved and shaded in most spots. Beautiful trail!
