Thank you, Orange County, for creating this beautiful park in Horizon West. There’s so much open space, and I’m excited to see the upcoming sports fields. I’m also glad to see plenty of hiking trails and great tree coverage.
Today we visited the newly opened Horizon West Regional Park with the kids ❤️ Honestly, I was very impressed. It makes me so happy to see modern, safe, and thoughtfully designed playgrounds being built for our children 🙏 The park is very spacious, clean, and well organized.
Rode 2 mile bike trail along the ponds and outer boundary starting from pavilion to playground. Some sections are sandy but should be ok with 2.5 inch tires. Trail is mostly flat near the pavilion and some small climbs near the playground. I am a beginner rider - enjoyed the ride that took me 20 mins.
