We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Scrub Point Preserve yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Scrub Point Preserve
“The trails are nicely maintained with some beautiful views of the lake and surrounding forest.”
“The preserve was supposed to be built up into another subdivision, but was luckily bought by the Federal Government and preserved as a beautiful natural area.”
This is a neat park. The new houses around the park make it look like it's in a strange location, but I'm so grateful it's being preserved. This park is home to precious wildlife and beautiful native plants. There's a sign in sheet and some pamphlets at the entrance and the map is very easy to follow.
Great walking trails situated in the growing Clermont/Winter Garden area. The preserve was supposed to be built up into another subdivision, but was luckily bought by the Federal Government and preserved as a beautiful natural area.
I really enjoyed this trail! There’s a short, bumpy road to get to the preservation—nothing like a little off-roading to get you in the mood for some nature. Parking was easy, and the loop was simple to follow and well-kept.
This nature preserve features shorter hiking trails, offering a serene atmosphere. Ample tree coverage provides shade on hot days. Well-maintained trails ensure a relatively easy walk.
