Confirmed from Hubbard Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Hubbard Valley Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (557 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“It is always clean, people are always friendly and the trails are gorgeous.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 15 mentions

“Beautiful scenery, mostly wooded trail(s), multiple bathrooms, covered pavilion and park area with a kids playground, and an added awesome bonus of good fishing.”

Beautiful and clean park. Scenic and relaxing 1.9 mile walking trail, partly through wooded areas. Currently the lake level has been reduced for an emergency sewer line repair in Hubbard Creek. The low water level has exposed some edges of the bottom of the lake and the birds are loving it.

This park is a hidden gem. New playground. Paced and gravel trails. A damn. Lots of foliage. A great place for dogs and kids alike. And while the photo of the hill looks boring, it's actually a fantastic sledding hill. When you come into the park, it's behind the trees to the right. Playground is to the left.

★★★★★ — Katelynn , Jan 2025

Hands down the best park for a quick trail run, or decent walk. Beautiful scenery, mostly wooded trail(s), multiple bathrooms, covered pavilion and park area with a kids playground, and an added awesome bonus of good fishing.

This park has a great paved trail. Lots of trails in the woods and around the reservoir. There also are several picnic areas, and you can go fishing in the reservoir. There are toilets, but I'm not sure that I'd use them.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
