Confirmed from Huffman Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Huffman Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (199 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 10 mentions

“It is perfect, well maintained, newer play structures and an area for smaller children.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Top Condition ball diamond, with shade over the benches and good access.”

Great place to bring children to play, run or jog around the park, walk and take a breath, etc. It has a Fitness or callisthenics area which is very well equipped and maintained with multiple bars for pullups, rings for other exercises, platforms for leg works and areas for pushups. Totally recommended! 💪🏻🤓➡️🦾😎

Top Condition ball diamond, with shade over the benches and good access. Spectator seating, too! First base has a runner's pad (good), but second base was a temporary (bad), and third needed to be re-placed before our game.

Great park ,clean and everyone is so friendly. Good for small children and up and for exercise too . There is a sign to show you if you go around 3 times it's a mile very helpful .

★★★★★ — Angie , Mar 2021

Real nice park. On one side is the baseball diamond and the other is the playground. Lot of open field for little kiddos to run around. A basketball hoop.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 4 mentions

“There's a little free library by the parking lot, swings, big field, parking lot, playgrounds, and adult workout equipment.”

  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
