Confirmed from Huston Ridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Huston Ridge Park
“There are two picnic tables to sit in the shade or a few benches in the sun by the playground too.”
“After over 24 hours in the car it was a welcome, quiet and fun place to eat dinner and play.”
Two parks in one. I love that there isn't a parking lot for the kids to run into and that there is a big grassy area too.
Great little neighborhood park for a toddler. The smaller equipment is labeled ages 2-5, and the bigger equipment is labeled ages 5-12. In addition to the 2 play structures, there are 2 toddler swings and one big swinging platform for bigger kids or maybe adults.
Trail conditions & character
“There's a paved path slightly wider than a car that runs through the entire block right alongside the park, and we were confused whether it was supposed to be for parking, or what.”
“There are two picnic tables to sit in the shade or a few benches in the sun by the playground too.”
“There's no running water that I recall, but in a pinch there's a porta potty.”
