Confirmed from Ildica County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Cozy community garden and playground featuring a large play structure, swings and a slide.

Beautiful, quaint park for the local neighborhood. It is walking distance for many of us in this neighborhood. It has one playground great for young children with shaded picnic tables. It has a community garden in the back and a small set of exercise equipment in the front.
Great little park, my kids loved it. And so glad it has good shade for sunny days.

Beautiful little neighborhood park! I live a few streets over and was SO excited when I saw the construction going on for this park, as there are very few public green spaces in Spring Valley(especially within walking distance of my house).

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
