Confirmed from Indian Road Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Parking and trailhead for the Indian Road hiking trail, featuring views and wildflowers.
What runners say about Indian Road Trailhead
“This is a great place to start a beautiful trail run up to bridal Vail and back which is about 11 miles round trip.”
Interesting trail that I never heard about. Lots of ATV trails up there so don’t get lost. Pretty view of the mouth of the canyon, Utah lake, Timp, and Cascade.
This trailhead leads to a lot of different hikes. You can hike across the mountains to Bridal Veil or come out at the cemetery or circle around back to the trailhead. Most trails I have taken from this trailhead are easy-ish to moderate. Beautiful views.

This trail is decently steep and narrow with many switchbacks. If you are not good on a bike, dont go.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceCrushed gravel — the rail-trail classic: softer than asphalt, still smooth enough for tempo work

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
