♿️⚠️This is a gorgeous nature trail recently discovered on my search for new places to walk. I would not say it's completely accessible for everyone, but it's crushed gravel. There are a few small hills along the way. I believe you could get at least to the furnace area and picnic area perfectly fine.
Great little scenic walking/jogging trail. Has some interesting history dating to the civil war. The far end dumps you out onto a private drive, but it's still a pleasure to double back and take the time to explore the beauty of this creekside path.
Beautiful trail. Easy walk. It's in a neighborhood and you do need to park on the opposite of the road and walk across. Pet friendly. There are also several historical markers along the trail.
One of the nicest trails I've ever seen on a small scale. Sits in the middle of the suburbia of Mountain Brook, so you know it's nice. There's not a lot of parking because of its location. About three cars will fit comfortably. The trail runs along a branch of the Cahaba.
