Confirmed from Island View Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Island View Park
“Island View Park in Bountiful is a clean, well-maintained park with a great variety of amenities.”
“I would give this place 5 stars but because of the lack of shade I'm only giving it 4.”
“It has 3 different levels of fun for kiddos of all ages.”
We like this park! Highlights, there is a lot to do with multiple levels and lots of climbing opportunities. Lots of open space nearby. There are a few covered picnic table areas as well. And bathrooms at the top and bottom. Negatives. I wish there was a little more shade.
This park is AMAZING. We live in northern Utah and make a trip down just for this park. It has 3 different levels of fun for kiddos of all ages. My littles range from 2-9 and they do not get bored. I think there may also be tennis courts maybe basketball courts too 🤷🏼♀️ and many walking trails, and picnic tables.

It’s a great park for all ages! The playground has 3 levels that go up the side of the mountain! There is a tennis court, 2 pickleball courts, soccer field and paved walkways that go in and around the whole park. Also, there is a pavilion with picnic tables, a fantastic place for a large gathering.
