Confirmed from Bountiful Staging Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bountiful Staging Area
“Great place to get a beautiful view, go ride your off road toys or just to hang out with you friends.”
There are some nice trails that are a lot of fun. Some areas have pretty deep ruts, but overall it's not too bad. There are definitely many beautiful scenic views!
This is a really fun place to just come hang with friends. It’s pretty busy every time I go though so I can tell that it’s a popular place. It’s awesome to look down at downtown bountiful and just hangout. I also love how it’s really close to a beautiful hike up the canyon there!
Great access to amazing trails for both snowmobiling and dirt biking. Though the lot is well used, I've always found a spot to park. It's nice that it's so quick to get to from SLC. Unlimited roads and trails to explore. Not allot of water though.
It's an awesome place to start a hike or OHV ride. Law enforcement frequently visits checking for ATV and OHV violations. Law enforcement literally camps out waiting to nit pick anything. If you visit for OHV make sure your registration is currant and that operators have the free OHV training and miners have helmets.
Trail conditions & character
“The parking area is a little rutted but I will take these bumps because another car bumping mine because someone wanted to do a doughnut or something would not be good.”
“Great place to get a beautiful view, go ride your off road toys or just to hang out with you friends.”
