Confirmed from J. Frank Wilson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering an 18-hole disc golf course, plus a skate park and a playground.
What runners say about J. Frank Wilson Park
“So inviting once you walk in so nice ,and clean the aroma almost reminded me of my grandmas house.”
“It's a peaceful place to work, rest or play.”
It's a peaceful place to work, rest or play. The park sits on about 30 acres with a great selection of amenities the whole family can enjoy. Wilson Park has something for everyone. The park offers an 18 Hole 60 Par Disc Golf Course for your enjoyment. If you are new to the sport or forgot to bring your equipment along.
One of my favorite parks I've ever visited, Wilson Park has something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you want to take a brisk morning walk, play some horseshoes, or let the kids play on the playground while you catch up on your new book, Wilson park provides many leisure opportunities to a wide variety of demographics.
This is a gem in the middle of a lack luster town. Bike and hiking trails were in great shape. There is ample parking within the park and just outside the gates. The playground is in fair shape. Full basketball court. Shelters with picnic tables and grills. Running water restrooms.
This course has 18. Though the course is in need of some serious maintenance, tee boxes and signage, I found the course to offer challenges in throwing the disc uphill, downhill, and straight. The terrain was challenging exercising my legs, but may have been different had I not been playing alone and short on time.
