Confirmed from Jackson Morrow Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Little Wildcat Creek runs through this wooded natural area with trails & wildflower viewing.
What runners say about Jackson Morrow Park
“This park is clean and well maintained, it has a wonderful walking path and a few nature trails.”
“Jackson Morrow is a great place for kids to play, and all people to get healthy by using the great trails to walk or run!”
The open trails make this a fabulous park to race RC cars at. The park also hosts multiple events through the year for all ages. If you go to the playground, you'll notice it has quite the odd-shaped border. This is because it is the shape of our state if seen from above!
This park is clean and well maintained, it has a wonderful walking path and a few nature trails. I especially love the butterfly garden. It's quiet and the other walkers are always friendly.
A great place to hang out with friends and family. With the light posts they put around the walking path I feel better walking around dusk.
This was a quick visit. I did a quick mile walk, and I enjoyed the scenery. I stopped by the visitors center. It has a lot of interesting things to read and look at. The creekside was nice to stop by and enjoy nature. I will return to see and do more.
Trail conditions & character
“During the warmer months, it's a good park to catch some sunshine with a group of friends while walking your dogs.”
“Also there is an interpretive center (only open a few hours a day, tho), a new water play area and new bathrooms on the east side.”
“Nice playground, Large paved walking trail, Huge grassy area in the middle to play in as well.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
