Confirmed from Jackson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A very nice park. Very large with great bike trails. We took a walk into the forest. There is a nice path to follow. The frisbee golf course goes into the woods.

★★★★☆ — Lolli , Aug 2021

It's a big beautiful park with lots of open space and all kinds of activities. We enjoyed walking the trails.

★★★★★ — Davis , Oct 2023

This was our first time playing Jackson Park Disc Golf park in Hendersonville. The first 3 holes are wide open with a lot of direct sunlight. The rest of the course is wooded with some tight, more technical holes. Part of the Oklawaha Greenway runs through part of it, which was awesome.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
