Confirmed from The Park at Flat Rock's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 66-acre, dog-friendly green space offers a picnic pavilion, walking paths & a large playground.

This is a beautiful family park. It’s a park for folks of all ages. It has a huge parking lot, a lot of picnic tables, shaded areas to sit and relax. They have very well kept trails and beautiful foliage. The playground is fantastic! Your children have plenty of places to run and play, fly kites and explore.
We loved this stop on our road trip. It's one of the nicest Parks we've been to in a while. Fun Playground, our 2yr and 5yr olds had a blast. Lots of walking paths both paved and gravel with little flower gardens and a lake. The bathrooms were cool and clean.
I really liked the experience here. Nice clean welcome area with bathrooms, helpful staff. A lily pond, lots of pretty flowers and shrubbery along the trail. Play area for kids. I would just prefer a little more shade, but that is personal preference.
I'm so glad they changed this place from a golf course to a park. I think its a much better way to spend your time. There are 2 playgrounds, a covered pavilion, bathrooms, and a small room to rent. There are many trails that are crushed rock or paved that meander throughout the park.
