Confirmed from Jesters Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“It's about a 4 mile walk, mostly shaded, but there is a small distance that is completely uncovered.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Wonderful and very peaceful.”

Nice wooded trail and plenty of birds, the only thing is finding somewhere to park. I will go back in the summer.

This is the cutest nature trail randomly placed on the side of the road. If you don't slow down, you'll miss it. Be aware that there isn't any parking. I took a chance and parked at the elementary school next door. It was a Saturday morning, so there weren't any cars.

You can find parking for this trail at the Clayton county library on Battle Creek road. This spot takes you to the end of trail by elementary school. It’s very nice and shaded most of the way. Can get in about 3.5 miles going to the end and back.

We love this trail. My kids have so much fun everytime we go down it. And, They are doing a lot of work to it to maintain bridges and enhance surroundings.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🌳 Shaded / tree cover 6 mentions
