Confirmed from Reynolds Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Peaceful hike that is shaded.”

Peaceful hike that is shaded. There is a decent amount of parking and it is paved. The trails are very well defined and there are some post markers along the way to tell you what trail you’re on. There are different trails you can follow, some of which have little creeks running along them, ponds, and small valleys.

Lots of different trails to walk. Some art very well maintained others are not. Lots of trees lots of shade pleasant view of flowers and got to see some animals. Chipmunks, turtles, deer, and white tailed rabbits.

We hiked on this trail on 2/19/2023. As pups, we LOVED this trail! It has good smells and Mom and Dad said it smelled amazing especially being so close to the city. The ground was good on our paws. There were cute turtles to look at. Parking was a little sparse, but other than that it was great!

Honest review: Cool hidden spot, can definitely tell it’s a local’s favorite. Hiking difficult is 2 out of 10. So it’s not that bad. There only one spot that really is a small challenge. If I was back in my cross country shape this would be a nice trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
