Confirmed from Jewell Wetlands Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A habitat for diverse wildlife, this conservation area offers trails & a butterfly garden.

A real gem of a park. A nice place to spend an afternoon enjoying nature or walking your dog. The small pond contains turtles and various waterfowl, and has a few benches to relax on. A good place to do some birdwatching as well.
Well maintained public park and open space for a beautiful nature walk, complete with benches and picnic area. Colorful and varied landscape, specifically during Spring and Summer. The trees and bushes provide peaceful and interesting contemplation.
This place is aptly name, since it's a little gem of a spot. Good place to walk the pups. There's wildflowers and butterflies during the summer. Some cultivated gardens, as well. Lots of huge cottonwoods. When you're in the middle of the park, you'd think you were in a forest if it wasn't for the traffic noise.
I love this park because it's got an easy walk to a really cool picnic area! The walk to the spot takes you past a pond and over a long boardwalk! It's perfect for toddlers who really don't want to walk that far. You could probably even get away with pushing the stroller out there!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
