Confirmed from Jo Allyn Lowe Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Jo Allyn Lowe Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (147 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“This is such a picturesque park, with the photo opportunities and picnic tables where you can watch the ducks and geese it is the perfect place to come for a peaceful afternoon”

This park is handicap accessible and conveniently comfortable for anyone in a wheelchair. The parking lot is a bit rough if you have small tires. Overall, we enjoyed this public park. Its a perfect place to have a picnic lunch with a little or a lot of family.. even if the ducks came running for our chips!!

We love to come here and walk! Ample walking trails and we'll groomed grounds

★★★★★ — Judd , Jul 2021

It's a nice little park. Nice pond with great trails to walk about. The geese and ducks are only a bother if you don't like geese and ducks. If you do like them then they do what they do. Typically it is well groomed and maintained.

★★★★☆ — Cool , Jun 2022

Perfect place for a stroll. You get to experience the wildlife of a lake/pond in the middle of town. Has walking trail that goes around the pond, and ducks and geese flock here. BRING BIRD SEED. Your little ones will have a bit of fun feeding them.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
