Confirmed from Joatngna Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area featuring a path along a stream with views and a bridge.
What runners say about Joatngna Trailhead
“lots of good spots under the trees looks clean compare to other areas.”
“Beautiful little canyon hike along a river with some abandoned road and bridge to nowhere.”
This is one of the best trails for anytime of the year hikes or nature walks. In the spring it is lush in the summer fresh in the fall perfect and this year it even snowed in the winter! Super easy to get too not too far up the mountain and it even has a little parking lot. Definitely recommend!
One of my favorite places and I have been hiking up this area for many many years.. I love this place, it's peaceful and spiritual. It helps you feel a million miles from society. Keep this place beautiful and always respect Mother Earth ❤️
Nice trail, but it can be easy to get lost. Not any markers or signs guiding you. It appears to be the old road through the canyon up to baldy. The remnants of the old road show up and disappear. The old road is the only way to really know you're on the correct path.
Very nice place to hike, we like to come here to relax along the little creek..lots of good spots under the trees looks clean compare to other areas..
