Confirmed from Joe B. Barnes Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Water- and wildlife-filled, family-friendly park, with picnic tables, sports fields and walking trails.

Recently moved from out of state and couldn’t believe that such a nice park was right down the street! The park has a designated dog area for the pups to go off leash and socialize. The area is just great for picnics and even just getting a walk in.
The park is extremely scenic and wonderful place for a family excursion. In COVID recovery I had a bout of cabin fever and sat in my car just to get out of the house. It's surprisingly serene even with the people, street, and activities I could see in the distance from where I was parked.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
