Confirmed from Joe Ford Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Picturesque parkland offering wooded trails, a playground, picnic areas & sports facilities.
What runners say about Joe Ford Nature Park
“beautiful walking and biking trails with labeled plants along the way, a must see”
Nice trails here to walk. There are quite a few different species of birds here. There are exercise stations along the paths. The only thing I would like to see improved would be the surface of the trails. This time of year they are a muddy mess.
A very nice nature center and forest trails. We were in town for the geocaching event and enjoyed finding the geocache here as well as the adventure lab on the trails. The director Dennis was very friendly and welcoming to everyone. There are lots of hands-on exhibits inside.
Didn't venture to far on the paths the mosquitoes where hungry . But it is a nice place
The volunteers are knowledgeable and they will let the snakes give you a hug! Major updates are planned for early 2025. Walking trails are easy to maneuver.
