We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Owensboro Moreland Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor activity area with 12 lighted tennis courts & 2 baseball fields, plus a pavilion & trail.
What runners say about Owensboro Moreland Park
“Always clean with several amenities and right next to the sports center to keep the kids busy if your waiting for the next event a start time.”
Moreland park is a really nice place to take your children to play. They have excellent tennis courts their, as well as a full court basketball court. They also host baseball & softball games their. As well as having a walking track going around the outside of the park. Not sure if the distance though.
The park is an awsome place for a family. They have public restroom, softball fields, tennis courts, and even picnic shelters. The park is full of beautiful trees and flowers. My children have a great time there. I almost forgot to mention the walking track that surrounds the park.
Great park. I typically walk it after hours. One lap is .6 miles. It's safe, well lit and has multiple tennis courts, baseball fields and a basketball court. There are drink vending machines and a little free library for kids. Moreland Park is great!
Nice Park!! There is a playground to the left of where i took the photo. Nice park to walk in
