Confirmed from John F. Kennedy Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about John F. Kennedy Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,603 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Beautiful fields and park but on any given warm evening from dinner time on loud obnoxious kids on motor bikes rev it up distracting everyone at t-ball and parks”

Great place to go year round, always activities to do. Different walking paths throughout the park, great for picnics, sports, bring your kid or dog. Free parking and plenty of it. Newly built playground for kids young and old, no smoking on playground. Restroom available sometimes.

This Really Is A Great Park Year-Round!!!!! 🌄🍃🌳🚶‍♂️ ⚾️ 🚶‍♀️🎾🚶‍♂️🍁🍂🌄 ..... Nice for hiking, tennis, pickle ball, baseball, great playground for the kids... And, also just a great spot to just relax and collect your thoughts with a lovely water view! 😃 ..... And, there is always a good police presence.

Great place to go walk your dog or just have an afternoon to yourself the grounds are usually kept very well and lots of times there's things going on specially in the summer activities for kids nice playground and if you go further down you can get to the boat landing it's actually a very nice place to go no public…

This is an older park that I would spend many hours at daily back in the day. Lots of good memories, especially at eh pavilion which still looks great to this day The recently renovated playground is a favorite of my son.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
