Confirmed from John Paul Park at Lower Nike's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Trails for hiking and biking at this former missile silo that’s now a park with paved paths, a playground, and a picnic area.
What runners say about John Paul Park at Lower Nike
“Clean, well maintained, and peaceful with open green spaces, walking paths, and areas for families to enjoy.”
This place is great. There are wide open fields to do basically what you want. The park is far enough from the road so you can let your dog out. There is a little park for young kids and a whole outdoor gym for the adults. There are restrooms that are somewhat maintained. There are water fountains with nice cold water.
Pavilions open for use...free parking, current construction on some playgrounds but lots of open space, trails ect. Enter and exit from Folly Road. Google directions may take you to Street Road instead.
This park is so interesting. The park is right next to some big houses which is so interesting. There are some varied trails and connects chalfont to warrington. The trail has a mix of bird watching trails, water, flat land and hills. If you need a restroom it is right near the one train (i cant remember the name).
I come here for walks rather than field or playground use so that's what this review will focus on. There are several sports fields and an outdoor hockey deck which is neat.
Trail conditions & character

“Beyond that is parking, a large field where the missile silos were to the right is the entrance to the nature trail which extends over a mile to a dammed area.”
