Confirmed from Johnson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with several baseball & softball diamonds, plus a playground, tennis courts & a walking trail.

Awesome place to take the kids or even just for adults to go relax and take it all in!! Walking Trails, Playground Jungle Gym, Baseball Fields, Swings, & lots of fields & space. Also a cabana!! Great Small Town Place!!
I have always enjoyed this park even when I didn't even live in the town. Almost every park in Gloucester are very nice and well kept and there are a whole lot of them but this is definitely the biggest and best.
My kids adore this lake, it’s fun for all activities. Fishing, snow tubing, taking a nice walk, or even looking at the turtles in the summer time. So much fun for the kids!!!
On 04.09.25 morning walk, low tide, cold and windy. Observed bald eagle, 2 ospreys, great blue heron, 2 palm warblers, pine warbler, phoebe, and many robins.
Trail conditions & character
“Impressive baseball fields and three well paved full court basketball courts!”
