Confirmed from Johnson Road Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Good for all ages and pets too!”

My family and I love this park! It’s got everything! Huge green and picnic areas! A toddler lot with a castle and nice toddler swings!! Two very nice pavilions! A baseball area, several basketball courts, a beach volleyball field and a football and soccer area as well! Bathrooms are pretty clean.

We spent hours at this park! There are so many places for kids to explore, underneath secret hideouts and a ship, etc. My kiddo had never seen a all-wooden park before and I told her that’s the kind I grew up on, it was cool to share this experience with her.

Fabulous enclosed faux-wooden playground with lots of places to climb. There's a smaller area especially for younger kids but as long as it isn't too crowded with running kids even the bigger playground is pretty safe for littles.

Great wooden park! Highly recommend. This park is an exciting adventure park! Really fun to run around on different levels. The kids were playing zombie tag and running though the different castles areas. Nice change from traditional parks. Far from a road where kids won’t wonder into traffic.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
