This was a nice park if you're close by. Many things to do but I wouldn't necessarily recommend if you have very new toddlers because the majority of things to do are climbing equipment and activities better fit for 3yo and up. They do have a large set of swings, and a "car seat" swing.
Fantastic little park!! Close to the school and easy to park. The open bathrooms are a bonus. It is easy for police and parents to easily watch their kiddos as the open plan gives great viewpoints. Right off the bike path - this is a fantastic neighborhood addition.
Johnston-McVay Park is a great park to visit! My kids and I loved the giant wooden hawk. The playground has many climbing obstacles for your kiddos to climb on. There’s several hammocks for parents and kids to relax on. There’s also a story book trail along the walking trail for kids and parents to read.
Great park! My boys love to climb and this is one of their favorite parks to go to since there are so many things to climb on! The wooden logs with ropes to hang on to to balance, the giant eagle they can climb up inside of, the unique rope swing, and several hammocks give the kids plenty to do.
