Confirmed from Hoover Dam Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

The nature trail at Hoover Reservoir is something I hadn't really thought much about. I was wrong. The trails are well maintained although not marked but easy to figure out. You can take a trail that isn't difficult and walk through the woods or take a moderate to difficult at times trail along the shoreline.

Great little place to go for a short walk maybe a mile loop or so. Great view of the sunset. Set up a hammock and just watch the sky change color. They also have a nice disc golf course that I saw several people out playing on. They have some picnic benches and sheltered areas as well. Great little bit of park.

The nature trail is super beautiful. It is very easy to miss because the signs are a little misleading. And I'm also glad about that too. It is especially beautiful at sunset when the sun is just finishing its day; in the water gives back the The sun's reflection in the tribute before it goes to sleep.

The trail is nice. It’s a loop that takes you to the lake and back to the parking area. There’s several areas to park and all offer handicap parking areas. There’s lots of birds along the trail so it’s great for bird watching.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
