Confirmed from Jones Creek Trail Entrance's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Trail featuring a reservoir, wildflowers and a dam, plus bike-riding paths.
What runners say about Jones Creek Trail Entrance
“Beautiful place, it's nice that different trail finish in the same place.”
“Absolutely beautiful trails with Rolling Green Hills and lots of shade.”
I had a very relaxing hike because of the beautiful views and fresh air.
Beautiful place, it's nice that different trail finish in the same place. So you can go different days and enjoying the little forest. There is a beautiful sight of the reservoir. It's a hike recommended to do with children!
Close great hike. Parking is a bit of an issue, but overall, great Hiking Trails.
Jones, Novitiate, Range, and Manzanita Trail Moderate trails have manzanita trees which have attractive wood and grow into twisted trees about 15 feet tall. The bark on the long, crooked branches is reddish. Should go back for a spring day hike for the flowers and a summer day hike to look at the fruits.
Trail conditions & character
“My reviews are popular with over 8000 views, so you'll want to take me seriously here.”
“Park here on the street for quick trail access; no official parking lot, so it's good for during the week whenever there is only 2 hour parking.”
“Dog friendly and porta potties toilet available however we avoided going in there.”
“Absolutely beautiful trails with Rolling Green Hills and lots of shade.”
“It's a relatively easy walk, sometimes steep but normal trainers are fine.”
