Confirmed from Jordan River Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular paved path for strolling and cycling, with loops and mountain views.
What runners say about Jordan River Trail
“It’s well-maintained and offers a smooth, enjoyable ride with just the right amount of challenge to keep things interesting.”
“Great place to walk and clear your head or run its smooth trail and nice no matter the part you decided to go its absolutely beautiful”
This is a go to spot for me. It's clean, pretty, and has a variety of parking spots along the trail. There are nice spots to sit by the river and take in the scenery. My dogs love to explore here and play.
A pretty decent trail. Look closely at the murky river and you may spot a massive carp lurking on the river bed.
As an avid biker, the Jordan River Trail has quickly become my favorite spot for a ride. Starting from West Jordan and making my way to Bluffdale has been an incredible journey, and I can’t wait to explore the entire trail. The trail itself is a biker’s dream.
One of the nicest trails I have ever had the privilege of riding on. Protected and separate from motorists. Amazing river views- it better than riding the SW of England. Absolutely love this trail. You will not see many people on your adventure. Ride hundreds of miles and explore your surroundings safely.
