Confirmed from Kane Woods Nature Area - Scrubgrass Run Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Kane Woods Nature Area - Scrubgrass Run Trailhead
“Trails are well maintained which means you can enjoy the amazing biodiversity here instead of looking at your feet the whole time.”
“The Scott Conservancy maintains and owns these beautiful green space for all to use and enjoy.”
This is a walking-in-nature type park. No playground stuff. Very scenic, peaceful and shady. Benches at intervals. Alot of folks with their doggies. Trails are not super long. Most are easy to navigate; a couple are steep.
Beautiful and well-maintained trail. Great for long or short hikes in any session. Dogs permitted. A few different parking lots, too
Found a local place to hike. The Scott Conservancy maintains and owns these beautiful green space for all to use and enjoy. Two separate entrances, Scrubgrass entrance has 10 parking spots (if everyone parks straight 🫣) while the Providence Point entrance has much more.
Close to mainroad, small parking area. We have been here few times but the parking was never full. Lot of hikers bring their dogs, there is a small river, some days there's water in it, not deep. Good walk, not too long. No playground mainly wooded area nature trail, few bench to sit every now and then.
