Confirmed from Karl Stirner Arts Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Very clean and quiet. The total miles for round trips are about 3 miles. I would definitely visit again next time I'm in PA

A lovely art park in Easton! Yes, there's a roadway that runs next to the park, but it's really not that noisy. Flat and paved, the path is about 2 miles long. When you're done, you can easily walk to the town and do some shopping, or grab a bite to eat.

We visited the trail for the first time in a beautiful winter afternoon. It was unseasonably warm, so there were a lot of like-minded families out for some exercise. The meditation labyrinth and Qi gong exercise stations were pleasant surprises.

It was a beautiful trail walk. Only thing is we got lost at the end and followed signs but ended up in the city walking up long city hills then ended up going through a cemetery to find the trail again.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
