Confirmed from Kate Barr Ross Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space featuring a playground & basketball court, plus a picnic shelter, BBQ pit & ball fields.
What runners say about Kate Barr Ross Memorial Park
“In all the park is well maintained and has a full basketball court, and a couple of kid play areas along with swings.”
“The kids were able to play while my husband and I were still able to keep a close eye on them also there were plenty of shaded areas with benches for us to sit.”
We had a BLAST!! The kids were able to play while my husband and I were still able to keep a close eye on them also there were plenty of shaded areas with benches for us to sit. We ended up meeting another nice family there and now we have a standing play date every week.
I was at the park for a cross country meet but it seems like a good place for many sporting events. There are soccer fields and baseball parks. It also might be a nice place to go for a walk in the woods. Parking seemed plentiful even on a busy day.
Kate Barr Ross is a great park to take the kids to! The play ground has lots of toys the kids love to play on, and there is plenty of room for parents to walk around while the kids play. Very sunny playground!
