Confirmed from Kelsey Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park is clean, has well maintained walkways and is fun for kids. The parking lot was almost full at 10am on Saturday. The farm area is open from 11am-3pm, so plan accordingly if the farm is your thing. The playground area has structures that look like a tractor and the farm, lots of fun for kids.

Beautiful large park, perfect for families with little kids. Farm has animals for viewing. Fun playground, trails, benches and picnic tables are available. Free parking nearby.

We came to the stairway hikes and was pleasantly surprised by the whole place. Definitely a place for families. You can hike, picnic, playground and of course The Farm. Fun history about the place when you google it too. It’s dog friendly on leash, except the farm.

We enjoy spending time at this park in any season! It just does not get old: watching & interacting with farm animals , walking the trails, just lounging on well manicured grounds . Park is never crowded, so it is quiet & peaceful.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
